Tragically, Art passed away unexpectedly on September 3rd of that year, before he ever had the chance to hear a finished version. In the wake of his loss, the song took on new weight — becoming the first of many pieces Je would bring to his producer Mertz at The Bridge Sound & Stage in Cambridge, MA.
